It is with great sadness that I write this statement. Unfortunately George, who many many of you knew, has passed away. George was a great part of our J&D's Family and he will be greatly missed! I also want to express my sincerest condolences to the Gavas family and to those who had known George for a countless number of years through the Wyncourt days and during the time that J&D's has been here. I sincerely hope and pray that George's spirit has ascended to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and that his passing is not a Good-Bye but merely a See You Later! It has been a true privilege getting to hear George's many stories from his days working in the city, from the wyncourt days, and the other places he blessed with his presence. It really doesn't seem real, but unfortunately this is reality and I hope that we can not only grieve George's passing but we can also celebrate the long life he lived and the countless lives he impacted during his time in this world. May George continue to live on in spirit and may we all cherish the many memories we have with George!
Here are the details for George's service tomorrow (Saturday April 4th) at 10AM CST.
Cemetary service to follow.
